Kroll COVID-19 Heat Map – Forecasted Impacts of the Pandemic

Leveraging data and insights from approximately three dozen analysts around the globe, the Kroll COVID-19 heat map was developed to provide business leaders a snapshot of economic impacts of the coronavirus pandemic and government pandemic-related restrictions across multiple geographies and sectors. Capturing data points sourced from news reports, public records and government-provided information between April 2020 and March 2021, the information has helped organizations, especially multi-nationals, track trends over time to inform board and investor decisions and operational strategies as the response to the pandemic evolved. Methodology

Sourced by approximately three dozen analysts around the world, this dashboard highlights the overall impact of COVID-19 in key jurisdictions and regions of the world between April 2020 and March 2021. These results were made possible by Kroll’s industry-leading capabilities in the areas of public records research, investigative context building, and risk identification and management.

Kroll’s research focuses on public and regulatory reports to buttress qualitative analysis of economic, social welfare, and other socio-economic indicators of 61 key regions of the world. Analysts located in each of these key regions provide qualitative assessments of nearly 30 such indicators and provides relevant updates on a regular basis. Please note that the nature of the sources, reports, and other public information relied upon for this dashboard are subject to regional variances.

In addition to open source and public records research, Kroll’s analysts also provided critical first-person insights into the “on the ground” situation, many of which are summarized in the dashboard.
