Director

Wendy is a director in our Beijing Office. She has more than 14 years’ experience in liquidation and restructuring, VC/PE, capital markets and management consulting. Wendy is skilled in financial modelling, restructuring, operational turnaround, due diligence and post-investment management.

Most recently, Global Restructuring Review named Wendy as one of its top ten noteworthy runners up to its 2022 “40 under 40” list of the world’s top young restructuring professional.

Prior to joining Borrelli Walsh (now Kroll), Wendy was most recently a director for a cross-border, China focused investment group with over RMB10 billion and USD700 million under management. She was involved with all aspects of investment and was responsible for leading a team to perform investment analysis, due diligence, deal structuring, financial modelling and negotiate investment terms to ensure effective execution of investments.

Prior to this, Wendy was a Senior Manager at Alvarez & Marsal, where she was involved in assisting underperforming companies to improve financial and operational performance by developing and implementing comprehensive profit improvements, working capital plans and AR collection plans. Wendy has successfully assisted several clients to exit from investment portfolios by completing business turnaround and/or negotiating the terms of investment exits.

Wendy started her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Chicago office, where she handled cash flow modelling, transaction executions, product pricing on structured finance products including CMBS, RMBS, ABS and CDO.

Wendy speaks English and Mandarin.
